Art, Tattoo, & Conservation
A Unifying Practice
All of Naomi Shanti’s work grows from the same place — attention. A practice of listening to land, body, and story, and honoring what often goes unseen.
Art
Naomi’s paintings focus on birds and small creatures, with particular care given to Florida species that are endangered, elusive, or easily overlooked. Each work is shaped through observation and research, translating habitat, behavior, and quiet presence into layered visual narratives grounded in place.
Tattoo
Tattooing is approached as an intimate and collaborative process. Working slowly and intentionally, Naomi creates pieces that draw from natural forms, symbolism, and personal meaning — honoring the body as a living landscape and a site of trust.
Conservation
Naomi’s conservation work weaves together aerial drone imagery, photography, and ArcGIS mapping to support land protection and stewardship. Through storytelling maps and spatial imagery, she helps translate complex landscapes into visuals that deepen understanding, care, and long-term protection.
